The Virginia Board for People with Disabilities is seeking high school students with disabilities to serve as delegates at the 2008 Youth Leadership Forum, July 14-18, in Newport News. The Youth Leadership Forum provides student delegates with opportunities for learning, sharing, and developing the skills to become leaders in their schools, at work, within their families, and in their communities. Each July, approximately 25 rising high school juniors and seniors with disabilities who have demonstrated leadership potential gather from all across Virginia at the campus of Christopher Newport University for the forum. Applications to serve as a delegate are due March 31. Find out more.
